Establishing a rhythm of wilderness withdrawal is the goal of the Pocket Wilderness. Locking in the reality that you have now withdrawn to wilderness, is key. Knowing deeply that “I have journeyed to wilderness and met with God”, is a reality that in and of itself requires space so to lock in this transformational truth. You are learning the way and the way to return.
In the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul penetrates the question of “who I am then, in light of the gospel of Christ?” As we depart from this time of withdrawal and close fellowship with God and others, it is paramount to transition and return well. Locking in our fuller knowledge of God and being more deeply known by God catalyzes our identity as co-heirs with Christ.
It is our identity (our new heart) that will guide us as we return to live out, abundant life!
